Damascus glass is a combination of one or more colors of glass canes manipulated and folded many times over to display
a distinct pattern on the surface of the glass. Every piece produced is unique, the patterns may be similar but never identical.
The term Damascus generally refers to a type of steel identifying a process of folding and hammering the material that is used
in the making of swords and knives. This patterned metal has been in existence for over 2000 years and originated in the
Middle East. In Medieval times metal smiths forged Damascus swords and knives with great skill. These items were greatly
admired for their beauty, their owners also believed the strange whorls and ripples lent them to have mystical powers. Today
Virginia and Tony bring you Damascus glass with this fascinating ripple like pattern of unique beauty to grace and charm
your home or collection.

Similar to our Damascus Series, these Orbs have colored glass rods woven within the mass of crystal not just on the surface.
With the addition of another glassmaking technique, Virginia and Tony get the appearance of a multi-colored fungus growing
within what appears to suggest brain matter, hence, the birth of the Mutant Brain. This design serves as a timely reminder that
we, the human race as a whole must change our ways of thinking and consider the planet and how we interact with every
part of it. To do nothing means certain disaster. We must mutate to survive. All orbs are signed by the artist.

These brightly colored Mirage Orbs are made using precise, consistent glass rods of different colors and styles oriented to
display a distinct pattern on the surface fo the orb. They have a reflective core allowing the viewer to see images of light and
color, giving the illusion of having a second orb within.

Single Pole Orbs have a very distinct look. The combination of canes are picked up and laid flat over the crystal, coaxed around
all sides and pulled off at the bottom. This gives the appearance of having fabric draped over the sphere, a blanket of Filigree glass.

The Stardust Crown Series is a product we have developed using plain and specific colored Dichroic Glass. We enhance its
reflective qualities to exhibit more color and sparkle. We then combine this with various styles of ribbon cane, latticino, or other
exotic complex canes. The pieces are truely unique and the end result is dazzling. This is a true signature piece unique to our
style with the end result being one of vibrant color and brilliance.

Lost in Spacesyde Orbs are an elaborate mix of murrini, complex cane, clusters of canes, dichroic glass, aventurine and all
types of colored glass related items These pieces are suspended within different layers of crystal, and will invite your eyes to
wander deep inside, viewing items actual size, magnified and distorted. These are a veritable feast for the eyes that will trigger
your imagination. Look for the signature murrini in more recent pieces. Earlier ones are signed by engraving, and again, these
are impossible to reproduce.
