Our Fireworks line has vibrant bursts of color and spiraling lines of colored glass, combined with murrinis that we have made

ahead of time embellishing the pieces.  They decorative glass pieces are oriented, pre-heated and then picked up early in the

process on a hot gather of crystal.  Hot crystal is layered on top so the colored patterns of glass are sealed for eternity inside.

Damascus glass is a combination of one or more colors of glass canes manipulated and folded many times over to

display a distinct pattern in crystal. Every piece produced is unique, the patterns may be similar but never identical. The

term Damascus generally refers to a type of steel  identifying a process of folding and hammering the material that is used

in the making of swords and knives. This patterned metal has been in existence for over 2000 years and originated in the

Middle East. In Medieval times metal smiths forged Damascus swords and knives with great skill. These items were greatly

admired for their beauty, their owners also believed the strange whorls and ripples lent them to have mystical powers. Today

Virginia and Tony bring you Damascus glass with this fascinating ripple like pattern of unique beauty to grace and charm

your home or collection.

These Vases are a contemporary design decorated with our Damascus glass pattern.  The top of this vase is

cut and polished on an angle drawing the viewers eye down the swirling multicolored body of the piece.

The Legato Ribbon Vases are created using a complicated Venetian technique of fusing glass rods and picking

them up on the bottom of a cone of crystal. The resulting bubble of glass is then shaped and layers of crystal are

gathered over top.  Then, the bubble is blown and stretched into these elegant unusual sculptural objects de' art.

The technique is known a single pole pickup.

body of the piece. A gentle swirl is wrapped around the elegant tall body and is topped off with a

flowing ruffle. A light etching sealed with a silicone finish give these vases a lovely low lustre.
